Qualifications for the Elite Truck School Program

If you want to obtain your Class A CDL and land a great job in the truck driving industry, Portland’s Elite Truck School can help. In order to be admitted to our CDL training program, you must be at least 18 years of age to drive intrastate and at least 21 years of age to drive interstate. If you do not have a high school diploma, you must pass an Ability-to-Benefit Exam. You must possess a valid drivers’ license at the time of enrollment and have at least one year of automobile driving experience. You must be able to pass a Department of Transportation drug test and physical exam, both of which we will schedule for you. When you apply for admittance to our truck driving school, you must also submit a DMV driving record and present your Social Security card to the DMV.
